Working with an AI assistant
Once connected, an assistant can answer questions about your site ("which Books have no date?"), plan changes ("add a publisher address to Books"), and, with write abilities exposed, carry them out. The articles in this category explain what it can do in each area, and what to watch for.
A few habits make every task go better:
- Start from a prompt when one fits, such as
vx-plan-changeorvx-migrate-values. - Ask for a plan first. A good assistant checks a change without saving it before doing it for real; ask it to show you that check.
- Ask how big a content job is before it starts ("how many Books would this touch?").
- Keep the undo information. Every change reports how to reverse it. See Activity log and undo.
